Chenilles processionnaires

Les nids de chenilles processionnaires sont visibles dans les pins noirs d'autriche, les pins sylvestre et les chênes.

On les reconnaît à leur aspect blanc coton lorsqu'il s'agit de nids de chenilles dans les pins.

Dans les chênes elles sont moins visibles car elles s'installent à l'aisselle des branches.

ATTENTION : les chenilles processionnaires représentent un danger pour les animaux de compagnie (graves conséquences en cas d'ingestion) et l'humain (très urticant).

L'idéal est d'intervenir avant qu'elles ne descendent de l'arbre fin mars début avril.
